Choosing the tree

Our advent activity today was 'choosing the tree' as we have always done this on the first Saturday in December. This year we decided to try out 'Santa Fir' a local grower of Christmas Trees. Wow did we have an amazing time there!!! Here are some snaps

there were several styles of fake trees beautifully decorated in the shop

but we always have at least one real tree

so, after we had seen the reindeer (minus his antlers!)

we walked through the display looking at hundreds of trees unable to make up our minds. Suddenley the kids looked at one particular tree and both said 'this is perfect' and so the 2 'men' carried it to the car!
by tomorrow we might have decorated the tree, so watch this space!
