Sharing scrapbook pages on Sunday over a cup of tea

Good evening, slightly late I know but I am hoping you have time to stop for a cup of tea whilst I show you my latest scrapbook pages.  I do have some instant coffee but we have run out of the yummy filter type (poor hubby was not impressed) so sorry but I have a great choice of teas.....

See anything you fancy?  I think I will make myself an earl grey with vanilla, it tends to be my late evening drink.  Everyone else is in bed here now so it is peaceful and quiet so we can natter away, though I do have to go to work tomorrow.....

So what have you been up to?  Did you have a nice Easter, I can offer you a cream egg if you would like one!  I have had a quiet weekend, did you?  I made a couple of scrapbook pages earlier in the week.....

The first page is for the UKS weekly challenge, we were asked to use an advert as the main photo, shaped buttons or brads, 2 colours from the photo and either a short cryptic title or a long wordy one......phew what a challenge!  Initially I thought I wouldn't manage this one but I did in the end and actually quite like the page although the photo isn't brilliant!

This is inspired by Simple Recipes I used the colours, the sketch and tried reverse resist technique to create the camera embellishment.... will definitely try that again.

Well I guess it is getting late so you probably need to get going, I always love seeing you here and hope we can catch up again soon.

This post was brought to you as part of Abi's 'let's sit and have a cup of tea' pop over have a look and a cuppa with a few of my friends (some old and some new!)

  10. Vanilla in tea sounds yummy, although I'd prefer it in a bit of fudge (LOL!). I like your pages, especially that eye-catching and very interesting title treatment on the first. It's been too long since I've played with paper. Thanks for the catch-up.

  11. I would totally love a cream egg! We had very little Easter candy as we are all watching our waists. But, truthfully, I would have preferred at least a few treats!
Thanks for the tea and it's nice to be back for a visit. It's been too long.

  12. That is a collection of tea, I like vanilla in my coffee but not this late. That blue sky and sea makes me crave some sunshine on a grey rainy day. Glad you got time to play and fulfil the challenges.
