Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

I was up about 7am trying to check online for messages re the schools closures due to the adverse weather conditions... both were closed. Luckily no work for me today plus hubby is home so we all had a Snow Day together! The children really loved it and were in and out all day. They were very creative with the snow and rather than go for the traditional snowman they decided to make an igloo type creation.

E and M worked really hard with a neighbour, great teamwork.

I have to confess that I didn't hang about outside to see the finished project so will be taking a picture of that tomorrow (unless someone drives into it as it is just outside the house!)

But I did manage to witness Elliot attempting to catch the most enormous snowball thrown at him by hubby!! I love this action shot and the looks on those faces!

I am not sure if I will be able to get to work tomorrow despite the fact I have tried 'phoning numerous times and have left messages, I am still not sure if anyone is actually booked in to see me, so hoping no-one will be! I could possibly walk but it will take me some time as it is nearly 3 miles away and the snow is quite deep and will probably be slippery by tomorrow. Current temperature here is about -4 i think.
