Tuesday 5 January 2010

The children returned to school after our happy holidays, so I decided not to stay in the 'empty' house and went sale shopping. I have to admit I didn't really find many bargains but got a few bits for pressies (some even for Christmas 2010!) I suspect I should have gone grocery shopping as the weather has now changed here in Surrey and it may be difficult to get the car out tomorrow!
We heard on the news that there was a predicted 8 inches of snow coming our way but it hadn't been too cold and there was no snowfall here by 7pm. We then had a sprinkling of snow but it all stopped.
Would you believe it all started up again and the snowflakes were literally at least an inch across or bigger! I don't think I have ever seen snow like it before! Elliot got out of bed, got dressed, joined Mols and the 4 of us all went out into our little close and played in the street with the nighbours!

It was such fun!

Really mad crazy run around fun!

  1. Looks like you had a wonderful time...we seem to be having frozen rain...hard little balls.... rather than snow!!
I did do JYC last year as well....I love doing it....even though it is a bit of a commitment at a busy time of year....but there's no pressure to keep up....and I didn't do a page every day...think I've got 17 pages in all.I didn't use Shimelle's kit....in fact I bought nothing....all from stash.....but mainly from a co-ordinating pack of Stampin Up xmas stuff....with just a few bits added.I'd really recommend it...a great class...and after you've paid for the class...you can join in every year free.

  2. Wow looks like you all had a fab time in the snow!!!

  3. Hee hee that looks like great fun xx

  4. Oooooh what fun !!!!

Didnt Molly freeze having those long legs out in the snow ?? I was freezing here. The boys have a snow day today... Must get outside and take a few pics xx
